MEGALITIC BADA VALLEY STONE, HAMMER
In the valley there are dozens of megalithic statues which are estimated to have been erected in the 14th century. The purpose of the statue is not yet known.
The Megalithic statue in the Bada Valley is a distilled human face, where the eyebrows and nose are depicted as one, while the mouth is omitted. Statues in the Bada Valley generally have clear gender markings. On the Palindo and Meturu statues are engraved images of the male genitalia. And while the Langke Bulawa statue depicts female genitalia. Gender differences are also depicted in the facial features, where in the statue of a woman, her face is depicted as a forehead covered with bangs.
The carvings on the megaliths are also described as minimalist. The figure is usually depicted as having a large head with a body without indentations and no legs. On the face, it is usually depicted with round eyes with a single line representing the eyebrows, cheeks and chin. Most of the statues appear to be standing alone, but there are a few that are placed in groups. These megalithic rocks lie all over the valley. From those in the form of carvings of humans, animals, Kalamba and many more.
Other human statues are about 1.5 meters high and about 50 cm in diameter. Besides the statue of an adult human, there is a statue of Oba measuring 70 cm high with a playful expression and unclear gender markings. Residents call it the form of an ape, but it can also be interpreted as representing children
