Buddhism does not place as much emphasis on the role of God as other major religions. Buddhism places more emphasis on "pragmatism" in the sense of prioritizing quick and precise actions that are more needed in saving the life of someone who has experienced a problem. Therefore, ethics has always been very substantial in Buddhism. Collaboration with other religions is easy because Buddhism does not have a complicated spiritual bureaucratic system like other religions.
Indonesian Buddhists have never had a problem with the editorial of Pancasila, especially the existence of the first precept of Belief in One Almighty God. Although Buddhism does not mention God much in the development of its teaching mission, no Buddhist citizen denies the existence of God. It is not surprising that the Buddhist community is more fluid with communities of followers of other religions.
